Attentive is a mobile marketing platform that helps you collect and engage subscribers via SMS. Integrating OptiMonk with Attentive allows you to automatically send campaign leads directly to your Attentive subscriber list.
Before You Begin
Ensure you have:
An active Attentive account
An Authorization token from Attentive support
An OptiMonk campaign with a phone number input field
Setup Instructions
Step 1: Obtain Authorization Token
Contact Attentive support to request an Authorization token. You'll need this token to complete the integration setup.
Step 2: Access Your OptiMonk Account
Log in to your OptiMonk account at https://app.optimonk.com/
Step 3: Select Your Campaign
Select Campaigns from the left sidebar, then choose the campaign you want to integrate with Attentive. The campaign must include a phone number input field.
Step 4: Open Campaign Settings
Click Edit settings on the right side of the screen.
Step 5: Add New Integration
Under Add integration, click Add new integration.
Step 6: Select Attentive
Choose Attentive from the list of available integrations.
Step 7: Configure Integration Settings
Enter a name for the integration (e.g., "Attentive SMS Signup")
Paste the Authorization token you received from Attentive support
Click Done
Step 8: Map Fields and Set Sign Up Source
On the next page, you'll need to provide the Sign up source and associate the input field(s) of your OptiMonk Campaign to the field identifier(s) in Attentive.
The Sign up source can be found in the Sign up units tab in your Attentive account, under the column called ID.
Please note that this integration only supports Phone type fields and only USA phone numbers (+1) are allowed!
Step 9: Save Your Configuration
Click Done, then click Next in the top right corner to save your changes.
