# How to check if my payment was successful?

Whenever a payment goes through, we send you an email about it straight away. You can also check it inside your account — in two places, depending on what you want to see.

## The quick check: your plan and the next payment date

1. Click your **name** at the bottom of the left sidebar.
2. The menu shows **My plan**, **Next payment**, your traffic usage and **Active domains**.

If the plan name is the one you bought and **Next payment** shows a date in the future, the payment went through. (On a free plan the row reads *No upcoming payment* — nothing is charged there.)

For the full view, click **Subscription** in the same menu: the **Current plan** card repeats the plan, the next payment date and your region, and any banner about your subscription appears at the top of that page.

## The proof: your invoices

1. Open **Settings → Billing**.
2. Scroll to **Invoice history**.

The table lists every order with its **Order** number, **Date**, **Status**, **Total** and a **Download** column. Where a document is available, you get an **Invoice** or a **Proforma** link — click it to download the PDF.

Both the Subscription and the Billing tab are visible to account **Owners** only.

## If something went wrong

- **A declined charge** is stated on **Settings → Subscription**: *Your last payment was declined.*, with an **Update payment method** link. Save a working card and the subscription continues — see How to Change Your Payment Method.
- **A grace period** banner (*Grace period active since …*) means your access is being kept alive while the payment is sorted out.
- **An expired account** says so plainly: *Your account has expired — We can no longer display your campaigns. Renew your subscription to bring them back.*
- If a payment left your bank but none of the above matches what you see, send us the order number from Invoice history at **support@optimonk.com** and we will check it.
