Postscript is an awesome SMS-marketing tool for Shopify users. You can easily integrate your Postscript account with OptiMonk, this way OptiMonk can help you grow your Postscript subscriber list. Once you have installed Postscript in your Shopify store, please follow the below steps to link it with your OptiMonk account:
1) Log in to your OptiMonk account at https://app.optimonk.com/
2) Select Campaigns on the left, then select the Campaign you would like to set up with Postscript (choose a Campaign where you are collecting phone numbers):
3) Select Edit settings in the bottom right corner:
4) Select Add new integration under Where would you like to send the subscribers and campaign data? :
5) Select Postscript from the list of available integrations:
6) You will be able to give a name to the integration on the next screen, and you also need to copy the Legacy API Key from your Postscript account:
You can find the Legacy API key with the following steps:
- Log in to your Postscript account
- Click on your website's name, then select API
- Copy the characters next to the Legacy API Key and paste them to the field value in your OptiMonk account, as you can see in the above image.
Click Done once you have filled the fields:
7) You will be able to associate the input fields of your OptiMonk Campaign with the fields in your Postscript list:
Select the appropriate Field identifier from your Postscript account for the data you want to forward from OptiMonk to Postscript. For example, use "phone" as the field identifier for the Phone number, as you can see above.
You also need to fill out the Keywords from your Postscript account, so the visitors who subscribe to the OptiMonk Campaign will be added to the correct Keywords group. You can find your Keywords in your Postscript account under Acquisition:
8) Once you have filled the required fields, you can click Done on the bottom right, then click Next in the top right corner:
