1. How to filter for and list campaigns (and their statistics) in a selected time frame
As you start scaling your campaigns to create a personalized experience for each segment, the navigation between inactive and active campaigns can become frustrating. But don’t worry, your secret weapon is here to get you through this!
Filter settings allow you to search for campaigns by name, status, domain, and device and it also helps you track the overall performance of your campaigns for a selected date range.
2. Pro tips to manage your campaigns effectively
If you have been running campaigns for multiple domains for a while, there’s probably no shortage of campaigns in your account. To make navigation easier and to save you some time, we gathered some useful tips on why & how you should manage your campaigns:
💪 Include important keywords in your campaign names to make them easier to find. For example, include the occasion (“Christmas sale”), the campaign type (“popup/sticky bar”) or and the campaign goal (“list building”) in your campaign names.
💪 Identify high- and low-performing campaigns by simply listing campaign statistics for a specific time period.
💪 Archive all your old and inactive campaigns with a single click to get rid of clutter on your campaign lists
💪 Look for inspiration among archived campaigns and restore them if necessary
3. How to Activate and Inactivate your OptiMonk Campaign?
By default, your campaigns are ‘Inactive’, so they are not displayed on your website at all. They become ‘Active’, so they are shown to your visitors according to your display conditions when you activate them as the last step of setting up an OptiMonk campaign.
You can easily change the status of your campaigns from the Campaigns menu.
In order to Activate/Inactivate your campaign:
1. Log in to your account at https://app.optimonk.com/.
2. Select Campaigns on the navbar.
3. Find the campaign you wish to activate or inactivate, and click on the Active/Inactive toggle to modify the status:
4. How to Duplicate your OptiMonk Campaigns?
Do you want to create a fresh look for your campaign, but also want to keep the original look? Simply make a copy of your original campaign and start editing!
In order to Activate/Inactivate your campaign:
1. Log in to your account at https://app.optimonk.com/.
2. Select Campaigns on the navbar.
3. Find the campaign you would like to duplicate, then click on the three dots at the end of the row, and select the option “Duplicate.
5. How to Archive and Restore OptiMonk campaigns?
If you have been running campaigns for multiple domains for a while, there’s probably no shortage of inactive campaigns in your account. To get rid of the clutter, you have two options:
- delete or
- archive the campaigns you don’t need.
By archiving messages, you don’t have to fear losing campaign data. You can restore archived campaigns anytime, but they won’t increase the clutter.
In order to delete or archive your campaign:
1. Log in to your account at https://app.optimonk.com/.
2. Select Campaigns on the navbar.
3. Find the campaign you would like to delete/archive, then click on the three dots at the end of the row, and select the corresponding option from the drop-down list.
In order to Delete/Archive multiple campaigns at once:
1. Log in to your account at https://app.optimonk.com/.
2. Select Campaigns on the navbar.
3. Select all the campaigns you wish to delete/archive by putting a tick into the checkbox next to the campaign.
4. As a final step, click on the Delete/Archive button.
💡 The checkbox next to the campaign will only appear when you hover the cursor over the campaign.
In order to Restore your Archived Campaigns:
1. Log in to your account at https://app.optimonk.com/.
2. Select Campaigns on the navbar.
3. Select Archived from the status filter in the search bar:
4. Find the campaign you would like to restore, then click on the three dots on the right and select Restore from the drop-down list:
5. If you would like to restore multiple campaigns at once, select all the campaigns you wish to restore by putting a tick into the checkbox next to the campaign.
6. As a final step, click on the Restore button in the upper right corner.
💡 The checkbox next to the campaign will only appear when you hover your cursor over the campaign.
6. How to track the Statistics of your OptiMonk Campaigns for a selected date range?
In order to track the statistics of your campaigns for a selected date range:
1. Log in to your account at https://app.optimonk.com/.
2. Select Campaigns on the navbar.
3. Change the date range to a specific period for which you want to filter the data. Campaign data (Impressions, Conversions, Conversion rate) will change according to the selected date range.
💡 Filter settings will be saved for the session, regardless of where you navigate from the Campaign page. If you would like to clear your filters, simply click on the Clear all button.
