With OptiMonk campaigns, you can set up different button events depending on which action you wish to take place when someone clicks on the button on the popup. You can find the Button action on the right setting panel when you click on the popup within your campaign. It defaults to next (the next page on your campaign). You can change this to redirect by clicking on the On click drop-down:
By selecting Redirect, it allows you to add a URL, and whenever someone clicks on the button, they will be redirected to that page.
The Redirect option is a great way to create connections between your products. For example, if you're selling a dress, you can set up a popup to appear when a customer adds it to their cart. The popup can suggest a matching accessory, and when they click the button, they'll be redirected to the accessory's product page.
You can customize what happens when someone clicks the button. If you select "Close", the popup will simply close. If you choose "Redirect", the button will take visitors to a specific page. You can also decide whether clicking the button moves them to the next step in your campaign or a completely different page.
You can track interactions by reporting them as a conversion, rejection, or none. These metrics will be recorded in OptiMonk’s internal database for analysis.
