You can easily integrate OptiMonk with your Gomag website by following the instructions described below. The step-by-step guide will introduce you to the actions required to implement OptiMonk successfully on your website. You’ll be able to set it up in no time on your site and then get started with creating and optimizing your OptiMonk campaigns.
Here's how to integrate your OptiMonk account on your Gomag site:
- Log in to your account at https://app.optimonk.com/
- Go to Settings by first selecting your account info on the navbar.
3. Select Domains on the left panel.
4. Add the domain of your website if you haven’t already.
5. Now navigate to Insert code.
6. Select your domain and click on Next.
7. Select Gomag.
8. Select Installation guide to Gomag.
9. Select Get your unique JavaScript code from OptiMonk and copy the code snippet. After copying it, keep your OptiMonk tab open, as you will need it for the next steps.
10. In a new browser tab, log in to the admin interface of your Gomag shop and then navigate to the Design page.
11. Open the CSS/JS Editor of your active theme.
12. Paste your OptiMonk JavaScript code into the Editor JavaScript block and then save it.
13. The final step is to provide the API key to synchronize the product catalog and access product-based features. To do that, navigate to the Settings -> API page.
14. If you haven't created an API key yet or want to create a new one, click the Generate an API token button in the top left corner.
15. Name it and make sure to grant permission to at least Products, Categories, and Orders. Then click the Generate button in the top right corner.
16. After generating it, you'll be able to copy the API token.
17. Now go back to your OptiMonk tab, go to Provide your Gomag API key for advanced features, paste your API key there, and save it.
