Recurring means "over and over''. OptiMonk uses recurring monthly or yearly payments. It is a convenient way of payment for the service in case you are using a credit card. There is no need for you to provide your credit card details before the end of each period. In addition, you are automatically charged once a month/year on the date you signed up. It will be done for as long as you ask us not to charge you next time.
If you would like to change your payment method from monthly to yearly, you can simply do that from your OptiMonk account:
1. Log in to your account
2. Click on the grey circle with your initials at the very bottom left corner of the screen
3. Select the first option ‘Upgrade plan’
4. Under Change Plan, between the ‘Yearly plan’ and ‘Monthly billing’ option you have a toggle bar, which will allow you to select the billing period:
Please note that your next payment date can be also viewed from your OptiMonk account, by clicking on the grey circle at the bottom left corner of the screen:
When do I have to pay?
If you have selected a monthly payment, and let’s say you have first paid on the 25th of May, then, in this case, you will be charged again on the same day of each month. In our example, this will be on the 25th of June.
If you have opted for a yearly payment and the first payment was made on the 25th of May 2021, then, in this case, you will be charged on the same day and month, next year. In our example, this will be on the 25th of May 2022.
Please note that our pageview counter will not be reset to 0, once the payment has been fulfilled, but on the first day of each calendar month. In case the payment has been made on the 25th of May, your pageview counter will be reset to 0 on the 1st of June.
