If you want to communicate a more personal message to your visitors, the Video Element could be a great help. It allows you to further customize your Campaigns in creative ways.
To start using the Video Element, please follow the below steps:
1) First, log in to your OptiMonk account at app.optimonk.com/login/en
2) Select Campaigns on the left, then select the Campaign you wish to use:
3) Select the Variant you wish to edit:
4) You can find the Video Element in the Campaign Editor under Elements / Other:
Just drag and drop it on your Campaign to add it:
As you can see on the above animation, as soon as you add the Element, the available options will show up on the right:
The settings are organized into 3 categories:
Main settings
Border
Advanced
Spacing
Main settings:
Under the main settings, you can find the video settings:
You need to add the YouTube URL of your video. You can also enable Autoplay and Controls. You can also edit the alignment and the size of your video.
Border:
You can edit the border, shadow, and corner radius settings under Border:
Advanced:
The Advanced setting allows you to hide the element on mobile or desktop view:
Spacing:
The Spacing setting allows you to control he distance between this element and other elements on the popup page:
If you hide the element on mobile or desktop, it is also represented in the Layers:
Once you are done with the settings, remember to save the changes by clicking on Save & Exit in the top right corner:
