Selzy is an ecosystem of easy-to-use marketing automation tools for small and medium businesses. Once you have connected it to a campaign, OptiMonk popups funnel subscribers straight into your Selzy list — no exports, no copy-paste.
Before you start: you need a campaign whose popup is already built (the field mapping is read from the input fields of your popup) and a Selzy account.
Step 1 — Copy your Selzy API key
Log in to your Selzy account and open the page where your API key is shown.
Click Show full next to API key.
Selzy asks for your password; enter it and the full key appears.
Copy the key.
Step 2 — Connect Selzy to your campaign
Open Campaigns in the left menu and click the campaign you want to connect with Selzy.
Open the Integrations tab of the campaign.
Click Add integration. If this is your first one, the same step is offered as Connect your email or SMS tool.
Provider step: pick Selzy. If the list is long, type into the Search providers… box. Accounts you have already connected are listed at the top, under Your connected accounts — pick one of those and you can skip straight to the list.
Account step: click Connect a new account and paste the key into the API key field. Give the connection a Name (optional) if you want to recognise it later, then click Connect.
If the key is wrong, the wizard says so instead of saving: Connection failed — check the credentials.
List step: pick the Selzy list new signups should join. Use Search lists… if the list is long, then click Continue.
Field mapping step: decide where each popup field goes in Selzy (see below), then click Save integration.
That's it. Whenever a visitor signs up through your popup, they are added to the Selzy list you picked.
Draft vs. live: if the campaign has not been published yet, the integration shows a Draft pill and the note Saved as draft — it goes live when you publish the campaign. On a published campaign it is applied right away and shows as Active.
Field mapping
The mapping table has two columns: Popup field on the left (every input your popup collects) and Selzy field on the right. OptiMonk pre-fills the mapping with its own suggestions, so in most cases you only need to check it.
The email field is fixed — it always maps to Selzy's email field.
Pick Don't sync for any popup field you don't want to send.
Under Static fields you can send a fixed value with every submission — for example the campaign's name into a Selzy property. Click Add static field, type the value on the left, and choose the Selzy field on the right. (This is the equivalent of the old "Custom values" block.)
If you want to forward a piece of data that isn't listed on the left, the popup has to collect it first: ask the agent in the design chat to add the field, let the popup rebuild, then come back to Integrations → Edit mapping.
What about the opt-in type?
The campaign integration wizard has no opt-in type selector — it stores the list and the field mapping only. Whether a new subscriber has to confirm their address is decided by your Selzy list's own confirmation setting, so set it there.
Change or remove the integration
The Integrations tab lists every integration on the campaign with its list name.
Change list reopens the wizard so you can pick another list or redo the mapping.
Remove takes the integration off this campaign: Remove from this campaign? The account connection stays and can be added again. Your Selzy API key is not deleted, so you can reuse the connection on another campaign.
Check that leads actually arrive
Open Leads in the left menu. Every submission has a Sync status column:
Synced — the contact reached Selzy.
Integration issue — the forwarding failed. Click the row to see the reason (Incorrect API key, Invalid list, Field mapping issue, Subscriber already exists…) and press Retry after you fixed the settings.
